Accessories are a way to say who you are without having to speak…
Erika Lynn graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Accessory Design. At SCAD she learned how to design and make footwear, handbags, and other leather accessories. Her passion for shoes lead to her starting of her own business.
The Summer after graduation Erika Lynn travelled to Southern Italy. In Italy she fell in love with the leather sandals that are custom made by shoemakers in little shops on the streets. She watched different shoemakers to learn different styles. With Erika’s background of shoemaking she was able to pick up on sandal making very fast. She brought the Italian style sandals back to Charleston, SC where she now makes custom leather sandals.
Erika Lynn works with impoverished women in Haiti teaching them sewing skills. Every handbag comes with a protective dustbag made by these women.
Every Handbag purchase helps support these women in Haiti!
Erika travels to Haiti every year to work with these women. While in Haiti, our team stays and works with Hope Rising Children’s Home to work on different projects they need, work in the community, and love on the kids at Hope Rising Children’s Home and Hope Rising Christian Academy.
Erika Lynn sponsors a little girl, Jessica, at Hope Rising Children’s Home. Find out more information about Hope Rising and sponsor a child for yourself. www.hrch.org
Erika has also purchased items made by different artisans in Haiti. The sale of these items helps support these artisans and their families.
